Adaptor Sleeves are mechanical components used to mount bearings with tapered bores onto cylindrical shafts. They simplify the process of fitting bearings by allowing the bearing to be securely mounted without the need for additional machining or modifications to the shaft. They are commonly used in conjunction with spherical roller bearings or self-aligning ball bearings.
